2nd Chronicles 7:14 says if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
As I ponder on this scripture, I can do nothing but look at the woman in the mirror and begin to assess if I am indeed humbling myself, praying, seeking His face, and turning from my wicked ways. I’ve always been told that if you are not the solution, you are part of the problem. So I believe just what the scripture says, if I’m humble, pray and seek His face that I can heal the land.
It is so easy to get caught up in the culture and do what we see. But not always should we agree with everything. We must seek God and His direction for our lives in prayer. We must begin to be and live the standard. Living the will of God can be very exciting; God longs to commune with His people. He longs to give you good gifts. I believe that if we stop judging others but look at ourselves, and seek His face, God will move and heal our land. God did not give the responsibility to the unbeliever to pray. He gave the responsibility to the people that are called by His name to pray and seek His face.
So today I ask all the believers, are you humbling yourself, praying, seeking His face and turning from your way to His way so that you can hear from Heaven? You never know what God wants to reveal through you or even me for that matter. I have decided to take this scripture in my heart and apply it in my life because I want to see a healed land. I want to see my land healed and I want to see the people around me healed too.
Now, Let’s heal our land!
